2025 ASJMC Election
Deadline to vote is May 15
The 2025 ASJMC election will run from April 15 – May 15. ASJMC members are encouraged to vote. This year members will only be voting for the office of ASJMC vice president. The 2025 candidates for the office of vice president are Lee Farquhar, Butler University, and Jared L. Johnson, Oklahoma State University.
Hub Brown, University of Florida, will be installed as ASJMC’s 2025-26 president during the ASJMC Business Meeting Friday, August 8, at 9:45 a.m. during the AEJMC 2025 Conference in San Francisco, CA. Kim Bissell, Louisiana State University, will become 2025-26 president-elect.
Members eligible to vote will receive an email containing a link to the ASJMC ballot. The response deadline is May 15 at 5 p.m., ET. Please view the biographies of each candidate below.
