Journalism and Mass Communication Leadership Institute
This Institute is designed for new and recently appointed JMC deans and directors. Funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the pilot program ran from 2005 to 2007. ASJMC has selected 12 fellows for the 2007-08 program.
Journalism and Mass Communication Leadership Institute for Diversity (JLID)
Co-sponsored with AEJMC. Learn about JLID.
ASJMC Consulting Service
Currently being revived, this program will provide volunteer consultants who will do short visits to member campuses on an expenses-only basis.
Gerald M. Sass Award for Distinguished Service to Journalism and Mass Communication
Presented annually to someone who has made outstanding contributions to the field of journalism and mass communication.
Hearst Journalism Awards Program
ASJMC supports the William Randolph Hearst Foundation's Journalism Awards Program, which is open to any ACEJMC-accredited program. ASJMC members serve on an Advisory Committee for the awards.
